Mushrooms are classified as vegetables in the food world, but they are not technically plants. They belong to the fungi kingdom. Although they are not vegetables, mushrooms provide several important nutrients.
Mr. Ferdinand Bautista and his wife Diwata gained interest on mushroom growing in 2013. Through the help of their friends and by attending on various trainings about mushroom growing, they started to culture 300 fruiting bags of white oyster mushroom. Their first consumers were the nearby community and households. Initial capital is composed of 80 % from lending and 20% was from their savings. The mushroom farm is located at Parulan, Plaridel Bulacan.
Through hardwork and perseverance, demand for mushrooms increases. From 300 fruiting bags, they are now culturing 2,000 fruiting bags. From one type of mushroom (white oyster) they now added 3 more types (shitaki, milky and grey)…….. Read More

Aside from their mushroom growing, they also conduct Hands-on Training on Oyster Mushroom Farming.
Harvested mushrooms were then developed into delicious products. Such as Chicharon Mushroom, Atsara, Chili Paste, and the latest are Mushroom Siomai and Mushroom Longanisa.
Savourlife was registered on August 2016. Since then, Savourlife participated to various activities of Department of Trade and Industry Bulacan.
As of to date, they are supplying raw mushroom in three branches of SM supermarket (Aurora, Makati and Megamall B) and they have their products booth at Pasalubong Center in Baliwag Bulacan.
